It was a long awaited dream of the Mangalore Jesuit Educational Society (MJES)to start a Teacher Education College on the campus which came into being in 2006. St Aloysius Institute ofEducation, a leading institute in the field of teacher education of the city has completed successful fifteen years of its existence. The college has evolved from its humble beginnings to a bustling institution catering to hundreds of students across the country.The College is certified by the National Council for Teacher Education(NCTE) and affiliated to Mangalore University.
The college has a library with a good number of books (both text and reference) on various subjects
The institution has provided ICT facilities like computers, projectors, audio-visual gadgets, scanners and printers .
